Think of it as an advanced notepad that can be used to share content between multiple devices. I have it installed on my laptops and phones. Every time I make a new note, grab a screenshot etc. it automatically synchronizes new note with all my devices.

How many times have the frustration got better of you when you needed a simple drawing for your presentation? Lines didn’t match, couldn’t fill that box with colour? No, PowerPoint is not a graphic design tool! Try Affinity Designer instead. There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube so that you will be up and running in no time.

I started using Zoom way before the coronavirus that spiked it’s popularity. It does everything you need for a video conference, and it’s free. You can add premium features, but the basic plan should cover most of your needs.

The name speaks for itself. If you want to improve your writing, Grammarly is an exciting option. It works with the Word, Outlook, Google etc. Give it a go and see how many dots and comas were missing in your last email 😉

It goes without saying that the protection of files and web activity should be at the top of your priorities. I am not an expert in that matter, so I chose McAfee for two reasons – it is a known brand so it must be good right (!) and the license fee does not break the bank. I have not seen any adverse effect on my laptops performance with it’s running in the background.
TOP TIP – I have found McAfee software to be regularly on sale across all leading supermarkets in the UK. Yes, supermarkets! When it comes to renewal, buy another copy of the software on sale and use the code to extend the license. It will save you a lot of money comparing to renewal cost with McAfee website.
